Complete flow solutions for Africa’s growing needs

WPIL’s South Africa operations represent a vital hub in the group’s global strategy — combining deep local roots with world-class capabilities to serve the continent’s growing infrastructure needs. Through the acquisition of four specialist companies — APE Pumps, Mather & Platt SA, Eigenbau, and PCI Africa — WPIL has built a strong, multi-dimensional presence that spans pump manufacturing, turnkey project execution, and advanced water treatment technologies.
With decades of collective experience, these companies support critical sectors across municipal water and sewage, mining, power generation, petrochemicals, pulp and paper, and ports and harbors. From engineered pumps and spares to fully integrated water infrastructure solutions, WPIL South Africa is trusted by institutions and industries alike across broader African and Middle Eastern regions for quality, reliability, and technical expertise.
This strategic foothold in one of the world’s most dynamic regions has not only expanded WPIL’s reach, but also unlocked significant opportunities for future inorganic growth and synergy-led innovation — making South Africa a cornerstone of the group’s vision for a globally scaled, solution-driven future.
