WPIL has a strong and expanding presence in Thailand, delivering a full spectrum of high-performance pumps and integrated water management solutions tailored to the region’s infrastructure and industrial needs. The company provides true end-to-end capabilities—covering design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of pumps and complete pumping systems.

WPIL established its African footprint with the acquisition of APE Pumps and Mather & Platt SA in 2012, creating a strong base to serve both African and Middle Eastern markets. This was further strengthened with the addition of Eigenbau in 2024 — a specialist in turnkey water and wastewater solutions — and PCI Africa in 2025 — a leading name in water treatment technologies across the continent. Together, these companies form a powerful platform combining engineering expertise, local presence, and synergistic capabilities, positioning the group as a key contributor to Africa’s water infrastructure development. Italy

In 2015, WPIL acquired Italy-based Gruppo Aturia through its international subsidiary — marking a pivotal move in our global expansion strategy. With a rich legacy of engineering excellence and a strong export-driven business model, Aturia brought WPIL immediate access to sophisticated markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Further, following the synergistic integration of the existing group companies, in 2019, Gruppo Aturia acquired Finder Pompe, and in 2024, acquired MISA Srl. From industrial and firefighting pumps to a leading presence in the oil & gas sector, the Italian group has become a critical driver of global scale, synergies, and innovation for the WPIL Group.

WPIL expanded into the Asia–Pacific with the acquisition of Sterling Pumps in 2011 and United Pumps in 2019, bringing together two of Australia’s most trusted pump manufacturers, creating a high-spec regional hub for engineered pumping solutions.
